Our commitment is to provide an exceptional purchasing experience, and in the rare instance that an issue arises, we aim to streamline the resolution process without any unnecessary hurdles.

What does the warranty cover?
Skar Audio's 2-Year Limited Warranty serves as a safeguard against any defects stemming from the original manufacturing of your purchased product(s). Rest assured, should any manufacturing flaws arise, they will be promptly addressed, relieving you of any responsibility for issues arising from such defects. However, it's important to note that the warranty does not extend to products that have been compromised due to specific circumstances, including:
- Damage resulting from mishandling (such as dropping the product(s) or damage from foreign objects)
- Misuse of the product, including operating it beyond recommended specifications (e.g., overpowering speakers/subwoofers, torn surrounds, running an amplifier below a 1 ohm load)
- Negligence or abuse, including inadequate packaging during return shipment
- Incorrect installation, including instances of professional installation
- Damage caused by clipping and/or distortion due to improper tuning
- Products that appear to have been tampered with, modified, or repaired
- Theft of the product
- Purchases made from unauthorized Skar Audio dealers
* Additionally, repeated returns of the same item displaying identical damage may be considered indicative of abuse and will not be covered under warranty.
Skar Audio conducts rigorous testing on each product submitted for warranty evaluation, employing experienced professionals equipped with top-tier tools to ensure accurate defect determination. Our assessments adhere to stringent standards, and warranty coverage is determined at Skar Audio's sole discretion based on these criteria.
Product Replacement
If a product is returned within 2 years of purchase and is found to be defective according to our warranty standards, it will be replaced.
Skar Audio reserves the right to replace any eligible item covered under warranty with a used or certified-refurbished unit of comparable quality. In the case of discontinued products being replaced under warranty, Skar Audio may substitute them with the most similar model available.
If your item passes testing, it will be returned to you unchanged. If issues persist, it may indicate problems within your setup. We recommend consulting a local car audio shop for further inspection.
We prioritize returning your products promptly. Please allow 3 to 5 business days from the arrival date at our facility for testing and resolution of your claim.
Returning Your Items for Warranty
For any product(s) requiring replacement under warranty, Skar Audio necessitates their return. Prior to shipping items back to Skar Audio for evaluation, it is mandatory to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Items returned without an assigned RMA number will be sent back without assessment.
Customers are responsible for covering the inbound shipping costs when sending their items to Skar Audio for evaluation. However, once a determination has been made on your claim, Skar Audio covers the shipping costs for returning your item(s) or their replacements to you. It's crucial to ensure proper care and packaging during shipment to prevent any damage. Items arriving damaged due to improper packaging or shipping will not be evaluated under warranty and will be returned to the customer upon receipt.
Return Shipment of Your Items
Items being replaced or returned following the determination of your warranty claim will be shipped to the original address provided at the time of purchase. If the original order address differs from where the item or its replacement should be sent, it is the customer's responsibility to specify the correct return address when shipping the items to Skar Audio.
Skar Audio cannot provide replacements for shipments sent to the address listed on the original order if prior notice of the intent to ship to an alternate address was not given.
